1 About these terms

These terms cover the use of this website and the sale of goods by Sinewave Technolight. By placing an order with us you accept them.

Where we issue a signed quotation, purchase order acceptance or supply contract, that document takes precedence over anything on this page if the two disagree.

2 Prices and quotations

Prices shown on this website are indicative ex-works prices per piece in Indian Rupees. They are published as a guide, not as an offer to sell.

• Prices exclude GST, freight, insurance, installation and any statutory levies unless stated otherwise
• The price estimate produced by the custom fixture builder is an approximation and is not a quotation
• A binding price exists only in a written quotation issued by us
• Written quotations are valid for 15 days from issue unless the quotation says otherwise
• We may revise published prices at any time without notice

3 Orders

An order is placed against our written quotation and becomes binding when we confirm acceptance in writing. Until then we may decline an order for any reason, including stock, credit or feasibility.

Please check the model code, wattage, optics, colour temperature and finish on the quotation carefully before confirming. We build to the confirmed specification.

4 Custom and made-to-order goods

We manufacture non-standard wattage, optics, colour temperature, finish and branded housings to order.

• Custom builds carry a minimum order of 50 pieces; a standard housing in a custom colour has no minimum
• Custom production begins only after written confirmation and any agreed advance
• Custom goods are non-cancellable and non-returnable once production has started, except where the goods are defective
• Lead times for custom builds are typically 10 to 15 working days and are confirmed on the quotation

5 Payment

Payment terms are set on each quotation. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due before dispatch.

• We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer and online transfer
• We do not process card or online payments through this website
• Goods remain our property until payment is received in full
• Credit terms, where extended, are agreed separately in writing

6 Dispatch and delivery

Stocked items are typically dispatched within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Project quantities and custom builds follow the schedule stated on the quotation.

• Goods are dispatched by road unless agreed otherwise
• Unless stated otherwise, prices are ex-works and freight is to the buyer's account
• Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on handover to the transporter
• Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed
• Please inspect the consignment on receipt and record any transit damage on the transporter's documents at the time of delivery

7 Warranty

We warrant our fixtures against manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of invoice, under normal operating conditions and within the published electrical and environmental ratings.

The warranty covers:

• LED module failure
• Driver and control gear failure
• Ingress failure where the fixture has been installed and sealed correctly

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage from supply voltage outside the stated range, lightning or surge beyond the fixture's stated protection level
• Incorrect installation, unauthorised repair or modification
• Physical damage, water ingress through an improperly closed housing, corrosion from chemical exposure, or damage from fire, flood or other force majeure
• Normal lumen depreciation over the fixture life
• Consumables, fixings, poles and accessories not manufactured by us

Our liability under this warranty is limited, at our option, to repair or replacement of the defective fixture. Labour, access equipment, de-installation and re-installation are not covered.

8 Claims and returns

Raise a warranty claim by contacting us with the invoice number, model code and a description of the fault. We may ask for photographs or the return of the fixture for inspection.

• Shortages or visible damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery
• Goods returned for inspection must be sent with prior written approval from us
• Standard stocked goods returned for reasons other than a defect may attract a restocking charge
• Custom-built goods cannot be returned except where defective

9 Specifications and tolerances

Published wattage, lumen output, efficacy, beam angle and dimensions are nominal figures subject to normal manufacturing tolerance.

We continually improve our products and may change specification, components or finish without prior notice, provided performance is not materially reduced. Product photographs are illustrative.

10 Intellectual property

The Sinewave Technolight name, logo, product series names, website content, photographs and drawings belong to us. You may not reproduce them for commercial use without our written permission.

Where we manufacture to your branding or drawing, you confirm you hold the rights to it and you indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from our use of it.

11 Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the invoice value of the goods giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of production or any indirect or consequential loss.

Information on this website is provided for general guidance. Lighting design recommendations we offer are advisory; responsibility for the final design, electrical installation and compliance with applicable standards rests with the buyer and their installer.

12 Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including power failure, raw material shortage, transport disruption, strike, fire, flood, epidemic, or act of government.

13 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
